spinote is a new web service that allows you to access to notebooks that can be opened only in that place all over the world. One notebook is placed for every section of 30 m × 30 m.

There are notebooks everywhere including roadsides, parks, shops, sightseeing spots, from the mountaintop of the Mount Everest to the middle of the Pacific Ocean.
And there is also a notebook under your feet where you are reading this now!

You can open, write, and read others comment from that specific notebook only when you are at that designated place.

Feel free to write whatever you would like in it.

Lets leave the fact you were there! For example, any memories, feelings and thoughts you embraced, impressed events or even something trivial.

How to use spinote
==============

■Open the map

You can find notebooks all over the world.
You can tell if the comments in the notebook were written by you or by someone at a glance, because the colors are different.

■Open the notebook

Your current location is shown by a red mark on the map. You will find a notebook within the red mark, which is the only one you can open. Notebooks outside of the red mark cannot be opened.

■Look inside the notebook

Do you wonder what has been written by those who visited the same place in the past?
If so, turn over the page.

■Write to the notebook

Lets write a comment. It can be anything that you thought or felt at that time.
What you wrote down can only be seen by people who will visit the same place.

Wherever you are now, here was someone who came yesterday and there will be someone coming tomorrow.

Everyones writing will be footprints that will accumulate in that place, and they will remain in the future.

Notebooks that spins fibers of people, times and places into thread.
